Left the village in the dark at 05:45. Nearly an hour later we’ve disembarked and walked to where they left off the day before.
It’s the summer holidays and they’re along for the ride.
Ladders and axes are the tools of the Corcheros.

Riding one of the mules back up from the weighing point
The Corcheros cut steps into the cork so they can climb the taller trees. (They only bring short ladders into the forrest.)
